A/Prof. Sina Vatandoust is a Director at Southern Oncology Clinical Research Unit and a Medical Oncologist at Southern Oncology SA. He is also a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist at Flinders Medical Centre (FMC).
A/Prof. Vatandoust completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology at leading tertiary cancer care centres in Adelaide, South Australia. Following his training, he undertook a Clinical Research Fellowship at Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer (FCIC). In addition to his clinical work, A/Prof. Vatandoust is an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University, where he has also completed a PhD in cancer biology.
He is actively involved in clinical and translational research at Flinders. He is the site principal investigator for a number of clinical trials and is involved with several local and international cooperative research groups. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles.
A/Prof. Vatandoust’s clinical and research interests are primarily focused on breast cancer, colorectal cancer and prostate and genito-urinary cancers.
