
Dr. Ganessan Kichenadasse, MBBS, PhD, FRACP
Managing Director | Medical Oncologist | Clinical Pharmacologist
Dr. Ganessan Kichenadasse is the Managing Director at Southern Oncology Clinical Research Unit, a Medical Oncologist at Southern Oncology SA, and a Pharmacologist with a special interest in the management of a wide range of cancers. Dr. Kichenadasse holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology and has authored over 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also passionate about the design and conduct of clinical trials for cancer therapies, with a particular focus on early-phase (first-in-human) drug trials. He serves as the principal investigator for more than 30 clinical trials. Dr. Kichenadasse is an active member of several prestigious national and international cancer and pharmacology associations.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Kichenadasse is the Chair of the SA Health Cancer Drug Committee, and has previously held multiple leadership positions, including the Co-Director of the South Australian Neurological Tumour Bank and State-Wide Lead for the Clinical Cancer Network, SA. He is also the current Subspecialty Editor, Medical Oncology for the Journal, Internal Medicine Journal.
