We are currently recruiting for Clinical Trials Research Assistant (RA) – Full time, part time or casual.


Clinical Trials Research Assistant (RA)

The Research Assistant (RA) provides essential operational and clinical support to Clinical Research Coordinators and the broader research team, contributing to the delivery of cutting edge oncology clinical trials.

This role is ideally suited to graduates, students, or individuals seeking to build a career in clinical research. No previous clinical research experience is required. Comprehensive on the job training will be provided, including training in all clinical and research related activities required for the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting participant visits through direct patient interaction, including venepuncture, ECGs and vital signs
  • Assisting with sample collection, processing and shipment
  • Performing data entry and query resolution activities
  • Maintaining study documentation, including Investigator Site Files
  • Performing delegated clinical trial procedures in accordance with training and competency

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in a health science related field
  • Previous clinical research experience
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP
  • Phlebotomy skills or training

Additional information

  • Permanent working rights in Australia are required (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Police check and Working with Children Check required
